Skoda today unveiled a new body style for its all-electric SUV, the Enyaq iV, named – you guessed it, Enyaq Coupe iV With a coupe-style roof, the new variant also adds power to the lineup by introducing the automaker’s sporty RS (or vRS, as it’s known in the UK), brand to its electric crossover series.
Offered in three trim levels, the new MEB-based Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV gets improved aerodynamic efficiency thanks to its raked roof. It offers the EV a drag coefficient of 0.234, which is an improvement over the standard model. Combined with the lower weight of the vehicle, it gets improved range.
In its lowest-power trim, the RWD Enyaq Coupe iV 80, the 82kWh (77kWh net) battery allows the vehicle to go up to 339 miles (545 km) per charge on the WLTP test cycle, up from 330 miles (531 km) for the Enyaq iV 80. Its single motor produces 201 hp (204 PS/150 kW).
Both the Enyaq Coupe iV 80x and the Enyaq Coupe iV vRS (or RS) get a second electric motor that allows them to power all four wheels. In the case of the Enyaq Coupe iV 80x, those motors are good for 261 hp (265 PS/195 kW).

The highest-power RS trim, meanwhile, can deliver as much as 295 hp (299 PS/220 kW) and up to 339 lb-ft (460 Nm) of torque, which allows it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 6.5 seconds and continue on to a top speed of 111 mph (179 km/h).
The powerful RS model and the sporty-looking Enyaq Coupe iV SportLine trim both benefit from an optimized sports chassis. They are 15 mm (0.5 inch) lower at the front and 10 mm (0.4 inch) lower at the back than the standard model, which will hopefully improve their performance in the moose test.
Both get standard 20-inch wheels while 21-inch wheels are offered and both get aerodynamically optimized plastic trim on the exterior. They also get gloss black trim around the grille, the window, and the rear diffusor. As with all other vRS models, the Enyaq Coupe iV vRS gets a full-length red reflector on its rear bumper.
All trim levels, meanwhile come with a panoramic glass roof that spans the entire top of the vehicle, merging seamlessly with the rear window. Thinner than the standard roof, it offers more headroom for passengers.
The standard vehicle’s interior is awash in recycled materials, while the SportLine model gets a sporty black interior. The vRS model, meanwhile, gets sport-style seats with black perforated leather and contrasting piping. The dashboard is also finished in a leather-look material to match the seats and there is carbon fiber-effect trim throughout the cabin.
All models come with a 5.3-inch instrument display and a 13-inch central touchscreen inside and despite the sloping roof, space is still ample. The Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV gets 570-liters (20.1 cubic feet) of trunk space, as compared to the standard body style’s 585 liters (20.6 cubic feet).
“Following the successful launch of the SUV, the new ENYAQ COUPÉ iV brings even more emotiveness, sports styling, and elegance to the ŠKODA iV family,” said Thomas Shafer, Skoda’s CEO. “Our designers and engineers have once again succeeded in combining a high degree of functionality with an emotive design.”
Customers will be able to order their Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV starting next month in the U.K. Prices, unfortunately, have not yet been announced.
