Updated Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition gets new features

Tata Motors has updated the Safari lineup by adding a new paint shade to the Adventure Persona special edition. The Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition will now be available in Orcus White paint shade in addition to the previously available Tropical Mist. In addition to this, Tata Motors also used the opportunity for adding a few features in the cabin of the Adventure Persona Edition.

Based on the top-spec XZ+ and XZA+, the Tata Safari Special Edition now comes with additional features like a wireless charger, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto for the infotainment system, air purifier and ventilated seats in front and second rows (only first row in 7-seater versions).

These features were introduced in the Safari lineup with the Gold Edition variants launched in India in 2021. With the inclusion of these new features, the Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition is now pricier by around Rs 14,000 for the XZ+ and Rs 24,000 for the XZA+ variants.

Tata Safari is available in various editions

Apart from the regular versions, the Tata Safari is also available in three special edition versions – Adventure Persona Edition, Gold Edition and Dark Edition. Compared to the regular version, the Adventure Persona Edition features design highlights like blacked-out alloy wheels and gloss black finish for the front grille, roof rails and rearview mirrors.

On the inside, the Adventure Persona Edition features a dual-tone black and beige upholstery, with a gloss black finish for the instrument console and AC vents surround, infotainment screen and lower centre console.

The other two special editions of the Tata Safari – Dark Edition and Gold Edition – are exclusive in their ways. The Dark Edition comes with Oberon Black paint scheme with a blacked-out front grille, door handles, roof rails, alloy wheels and cabin layout.

On the other hand, the Gold Edition comes with two paint scheme options, White Gold and Black Gold. Both of them come with golden touches on the front grille, headlamp surrounds, door handles, boot lid and roof rails on the outside and instrument console, AC vents, door handles and centre console on the inside. It also comes with a marble-like textured finish for the dashboard.

Like the other top-spec versions of the SUV, the Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition is available with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine as the standard powertrain. This engine produces 170 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of maximum torque and is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox in XZ+ and 6-speed automatic gearbox in the XZA+ variants. The Tata Safari Adventure Persona Edition will compete with other seven-seater SUVs like Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.
