Yezdi releases new teaser showing three motorcycles [Video]

Yezdi is preparing to enter the Indian market once again. They have released a new short teaser on YouTube. The teaser shows three new motorcycles. Yezdi will be unveiling the new motorcycles tomorrow i.e. 13th January.

The teaser shows two motorcycles going through a jungle trail. They are probably the adventure tourer and the scrambler. The third motorcycle seems like a cruiser that will be sold under the Yezdi brand.

The Adventure Tourer will compete against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the KTM Adventure 390. The cruiser is expected to be a direct rival to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 whereas the Scrambler does not really have a direct rival yet. But Royal Enfield might launch a scrambler motorcycle that will be based on the J-platform.

The cruiser can be sold in two trims just like Meteor. There could be a blacked-out variant just like the Fireball variant of Meteor. The higher variant would come with chrome bits that will make the motorcycle look more premium just like the Steller and Supernova variants of the Meteor 350.

Other things that we can notice on the cruiser from the teaser are alloy wheels, fork gaiters, a LED headlamp, a wide handlebar, orange turn indicators and bar-end mirrors.

The Scrambler has also been spotted and it is expected to be called Roadking 350. It will come with tube-type tyres with spoked wheels, there will be a LED headlamp, a flat seat with slats, dual front mudguards, twin exhausts, a short rear mudguard and comfortable riding ergonomics.

The adventure tourer is the one that has been spotted in the most detail. It seems like the adventure tourer was benchmarked very closely to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. This is because many design elements of the adventure tourer resemble the Himalayan.

An image without any camouflage has also been leaked online of the adventure tourer. It revealed a large fuel tank finished in white and with two vertical stripes finished in black and blue. There is a rubber pad on the fuel tank so that the rider can hold on to the motorcycle.

Just like the Himalayan, there is a skeleton on the outside around the headlamp and the fuel tank. The image revealed that it can be used to mount jerry cans. Interestingly, the adventure tourer was not equipped with fork gaiters but it did come with knuckle guards and a tall windscreen. Both of which will provide safety to the rider from the windblast.

It gets a split seat, dual mudguards, spoked wheels, dual-purpose tyres, single-sided exhaust that has an upswept design. There are also panniers mounted at the rear and it seems like there is a digital instrument cluster. Moreover, the engine, rims, side panels, mudguards and exhaust have been finished in black.

All the new motorcycles are expected to come with a  334cc, liquid-cooled engine which we have seen on the Jawa Perak. It produces 30 PS of max power and 32 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
